Our Matecumbe 18, the skiff born and bred in Islamorada, Florida checks all the boxes for superior shallow water performance yet handles oceanside fishing conditions with ease. Starting with a Chris Morejohn designed hull, this skiff has been enhanced by our team to provide performance and style with a standard vacuum infused carbon / aramid lamination resulting in lightweight bulletproof construction. At 18’ in length with 77” beam and up to 115 hp, this skiff can be optimized for poling for bonefish or tarpon/permit fishing at the customer’s discretion.
Sculped interior
The tough construction is complemented by a soft edged elegant interior design with multiple dry storage compartments and release well. Gone are the square box hatches replaced by a modern industrial design curved appearance. Even the deck is built with a slight camber for strength and lightweight construction. The cockpit can be configured with multiple console, interior, anchor locker, 12 forward rod tubes and custom storage options as you would expect.
